Not finding many repeaerts as well.
There's an Ulitmate Workshop mod floating around, but I don't know that I'm a huge fan of that one. It's a bit... Massive. There's also this. Seems like a pretty well-thought-out mod with a lot of balance checks built in, even though it doesn't actually help me get better repeaters on account of needing to pick them up initially :) In either case, though, I'd heavily suggest pairing those mods with the Reward Decks Refresher mod to avoid breaking your Proving Grounds.
In either case, though, this doesn't actually adderss the main problem I have with the game, which is that Repeaters are exceptionally rare for no good reason. Yes, they can execute enemies in one hit. In my entire time playing this game, I've seen that happen a small handful of times. They're hardly gamebreaking, and they happen to be the coolest-looking mods. Ideally, I'd like to make them as common as other mods in the drop pools rather than just crafting them.
How would one go about doing this? Are the loot tables recorded in an ini file or somewhere in the class files? I realise this isn't the Modding subforum, but I'm still curious. If it's a simple ini tweak then that would be pretty easy to accomplish.
Go to DefaultGameCore.ini
ctrl+F
Search = freekill
Change: chance=14
To
Chance=35
Change min and maxcount to gain extra repeaters
How do chances work, anyway? Does the game just roll on the sum total of all chances, or do chances have to add up to anything? From your suggestion of setting it to 35, I presume there's little control for their combined value, but all of the values in the tables in the file do add up to 100. Or is that just for the sake of convenience?
*edit*
I should take this to the modding forum.
I have been using that mod. Either I havent found the right combination to unlock magazines and repeaters or its causing a conflict.
That is the only mod I have used for building items you cant normally get. I hated having to choose between running out of elerium cores later and having a suit for everyone that needed one.
