Endless "Verify integrity of game files".

After I build new PC, I notice some of small bug with THIS game(only this). So I start to "Verify integrity of game files"(which on my old PC I never had to do for this game).
And it found 2 file failed to validate after first game(after install, after I reinstall, same thing happen again). And then after everytime I exit the game, there is ALWAYS 1 file feiled to validate. Is this normal? Anybody else notice this? I haven't run in to any other steam game with this. It's not an actual issue, as the game work just fine. It just bug me NOT knowing WHY it does that. :/

yep. Normal. It's a file that is changed during installation.

It's Windows screwing with you.

Most likely some rights on folders & files are not set correctly.

After a fresh reboot and with Steam NOT running....:

Make sure to take ownership and set full rights on /Documents/My Games/XCOM2 on all files & (sub)folders. Do the same on //SteamApps/common/XCOM 2.

Then use Steam verify local files.. see what happens.
