How do I know which mod is which by the folder number?
Hello all, in the steamapps folder where the mods are stored, all of the folders are numbers, you can open each one and see the contents, how do I find which mod is which number? Is this some info I glanced over in the workshop and missed somehow? I have many mods, and have been making some of my own and was trying to look up some specifics in certain mods, but there are many here and was wondering if there is a quicker/easier way to know which is which without opening each one.

If you right click the mod's page and copy the url, the long string of numbers in the url is the folder your mod is in.

You can also do a file search which can often find the mod your looking for. Some mod authors will also put their number in the description. By far the easiest way though is what was said above with just check the numbers in the mod page url.

Steam options allow you to turn on the page url display (not sure why you would want to turn that off, but nvm)
