Both are extremely versatile class that uses stealth. and each one differently.
I also played around with a Sniper/Support grenader that was kind of interesting, though I forget its name. Also I played around with ini customizing a Sniper/Support Gremlin, but there were a few skills I couldn't implent properly just from ini files.
A lot of the others are a bit akward or overpwoered in various ways (passive armor, killing from stealth, ect) but hey with the new DLC classes coming out who knows. Several of the 'tank' classes are a little clunky and make too liberal use of +Armor abilities. Others exploit re-entering stealth a lot. I tried several varients of classes that used Heavy weapons but none of them felt quite right...
I see the necromancer mentioned a lot, but I can't look at its skill list without thinking its too powerfull. +3 Armor? REally? (Is it damage reduction armor or temporary HP shields...)
1.Bruiser Class, because it helps early game- In LW capturing is hard early and Bruiser class really can do some front line damage and not depend on shooting
2.Shinobi and Rogue-Both classes are great to get in and do your task fast without being seen. You can station your main party away and battle while your Shinobi or Rogue complete their task. Hunter/Sharp Shooter is also deadly not only can he kill from a distance but charge and kill with his melee weapon.
3. Necromancer- It is a great class because of the zombie control, fire and many early options that you do not need to wait to contruct your psi to use. I agree very powerful backline class early.
4. Dragoon Class- I think this is the Cannon user primary w the Gremlin secondary, Good back line slaughterer with hacking capabilities The specialist should be the only one used for any hacking ability. Even when you create one and know once graduated he/she will be a specialist or dragoon, you should use only them to hack anything. To gain hack exp. points and augment. As the battles increase or become more intense, a high specialist can make hacking anything super easy.
What my son did and he is having a ball was get the class to fit his superhero he created. For example,
Nick Fury-he made a Soldier Class, Captain America-w the shield made into a shinobi, Deadpool-Samurai, Submariner into a Bruiser, Pyro, tech and so forth. If your going to have your soldiers in some kind of theme. Then match the class with that theme. He uses the voice packs to match the character.
Punisher Sharp Shooter w a Punisher voice and look, and he has a ball.
My point is have fun, no matter the classes you wind up with.
