Problems Running/Installing

When I try to install Aura Kingdom, the .exe, it load a little then stops and pops up an error window with nothing but "0" written on it or "Network Failure". So I thought maybe it was because I didn't have the Aeria Ignite launcher. I got the launcher, and it opens up without problems, and everything is working fine except the games and log in. When I press the green log in button, it flashes the username/password screen then says "An unexpected error has occured. Please try again.". Without logging in, I tried to download a game from the launcher and it says "A connection error has occured. [Retry Button]". When I click the retry button it says "Aeria Ignite cannot download this game. Cannot install Akamai Netsession service.". I tried installing it for Steam and it installed successfully to my library and patched fine but it says "Navigation to webpage was cancelled." when I press start to start up the game. I tried doing the full scan button but nothing happened still.

Things I have tried:
-Installing Aura Kingdom alone from the website. (Error pop-up window "0"/"Network Failure".)
-Installing Aura Kingdom on Steam. (Says "Navigation to webpage was cancelled".)
-Clicking the full scan button on the Aura Kingdom launcher which completed successfully.
-Right-click Aura Kingdom (Steam)>Properties>Local Files>Verify Integrity Of Game Cache.
-Uninstalling and reinstalling Aeria Ignite launcher.
-Logging into the website first before opening the Aeria Ignite launcher to see if that would log me in. (Obviously didn't work.)
-Downloading Aura Kingdom on the Aeria Ignite launcher without logging in. (Connection/Akamai errors.)
-Took a look at Akamai Netsession but was unsure of it's safety or if was really needed.
-Looking through the forums hoping there's a solution to this. (There were many posts about starting up/installing and such, but none pertain to me.)
-Tweaking firewall. (Disabling it and even adding stuff to allow.)

I had a similar problem and quickly fixed this.

First, if you have windows 8/8.1 like me (I have Windows 8.1 pro) then you'll right click task bar and select "Task Manager". Then go to the "start-up" tab and find "Akamai Netsession Client". If it has a an arrow > by it then click it and right click the one with "Low" under startup impact and click open file location. You'll then manually run netsession_win.exe (netsession_win application file) and then it should allow you to begin downloading the client.

I didn't go through steam to install but instead used the aeriagames' "Ignite" program to download Aura Kingdom.

I hope this helped because this fixed the problem for me with the "Aeria Ignite cannot download this game. Cannot install Akamai Netsession service" issue.

ps.
if you have windows 7 then search for netsession_win.exe and see if it works by also manually running the file. Otherwise, your operating system or a security program has blocked it from being ran so you'll need to figure out which one and allow it to pass through since it's a legitimate piece of software used for game downloads/patching purposes in some games.

I did saw that netsession in the controll pannel when I was uninstalling Aeria and Aura. Since it had the same install date, I assume its from the game so I also uninstalled it.
Problem here is why does such problem occurs? games are not meant to be blocked.
I had all blizzard games, Arc games, steam games, blue hole games, and a yearly paid anti-virus in my windows 7.
...the only game having such problem is Aura kingdom.

This dont make sense at all, not unless there are shady stuff happening that we didnt know which is why its being blocked by default.

I like the trailers and reviews, but expiriencing such problems myself with no GM replying on how to fix it
...game is not worth the effort.
