RESOLVED: rudder pedals overriding mouse control

After the last update, this game became unplayble for me. It seems to now detect my USB rudder pedals and interprets them as mouse movements, pinning the mouse cursor in the top lefthand corner on game start. I can use the toe-brakes to get x-y control of the cursor to click quit, but that's about it.

This was not an issue prior to the last release.

UPDATE: A new update was pushed today that allows you to enable or disable a gamepad. Disabling the gamepad resolved my issue. Thanks for the quick support.

they added gamepad compatability this update so thats probably why

You could just unplug the pedals though, no?

unplugging a peripheral does not solve this issue (for me)

I haven't tried unplugging the peripherals, but that would probably work. Unfortunately, it's not easy for me to get at the back of my computer to remove a device to play a "quick" game.

My preference is for it to play nice with my peripherals like it originally did. Or barring that, to be able to turn off that controller feature in that game so it continues to work with just my mouse and keyboard. I appreciate the dev team adding additional support for controllers, but I think they need to improve that feature.

A patch came out today that lets you turn off controller support, does that do anything for you?

I can't even navigate to the menu to disable the controller.

Sorry for the thread necro MODS PPPPLLLEEEAAASEE DON'T DELETE ME!!!

But I had this same problem. The game ran fine until I unplugged my HOTAS, then the mouse got jammed as above. I plugged in a game controller to try to get to the menu, and the game works normally. Even though the controller is plugged in, I can simply use KB/M like a normal person would.
