Problem with 4k resolution

I'm running the game with a decent rig on a MX279 27 inches monitor. Before the 1.03 patch, I can play 4k fine. But now, it seems that when I run 4k, the display got cropped to a 1/4 of the whole thing, ike when you zoom in on an image. Is this a local problem? Or a patch related problem guys? Need feedback badly :(

i7 4770k 4.4ghz
GTX 980 MSI
16G RAM
1TB HDD 7200RPM

Change your scaling under (Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Display) back to 100% and the game will run just fine

I'm sorry, but you aren't specific as to what I need to do. I think you are referring to what only apply to windows 7 (I am using windows 8.1). However, I did find the option and it did nothing to me. It was default 100% the whole time.

I am using windows 8.1 as well and scaling was causing this cropping issue with me

Are you using 4K native.. or do you downsample..

By saying 2000p you should be able to use any resolution as long as you get the aspect correct [ 3556x2000 ]

Thanks :3, I already found the solution though. It seems running compatibility mode helps. I'm downsampling it btw.

Win10: go to the game folder, right click EvilWithin.exe, enter properties, go to compability tab, click on "change high DPI settings", click on the "override high DPI scaling behavior" and choose to be executed by the application
