Game doesn't fit on screen
I've had a problem that came out of the blue of steam game videos getting huge and not fitting my screen when they're played in full screen. I was able to watch videos in full screen at one point, don't know what changed it but it was only game videos.
I just downloaded "The Evil Within" and this game is the same way. I can only see part of the picture as it doesn't fit in my screen. My screen resolution is set at 1920x1080. I have many games and this is the only one that does it.

Try disable "Letterbox" in options.

I can't get to or see any options in the game. I don't even see the menu.

Fixed it. I went in my nvidia control panel and unchecked the setting to "overide scaling mode set by programs and games"

Well, after shutting down my PC for some time I come on to play this game and it's doing the same thing. The picture is too big to fit in my screen. I checked all my settings and they are exactly the same as when it was working well. Even game videos are doing the same thing again. I dont get it!!
Again, this is the only game that does this.

Got it to stop crashing, now having the problem in this thread. Grrr....

EDIT - Found a temp solution until they patch this. Go to Control Panel > Personalization > Display and Select Smaller (100%). This will make all your icons and text super small on your screen but the game will run normally.

Yup that's the issue. But you can keep it at 150%. Go into your programs, find steam, right click and go to properties. Then go to compatibilities and check "disable display scaling on high DPI settings" and restart your pc. This will keep steam normal but your desktop icons etc at 150%.

Was playing the game in window mode at 1440p. Else the game would be shifted diagonally down and to the right. I changed the display settings to 100% and it works fine in fullscreen now
