Is the PC version worth it?
It's at a low discount now, but I'm wondering if I should just pick it up on PS4 instead. I heard the PC version has tons of problems with crashing and performance.

Have those issues been fixed?

I'm wondering this as well..
Try the demo.
I tried it. I am still on the fence, since it seemed such a bad port in general. For one thing, keys aren't rebindable. Not to arrow keys anyway, which is what a doom/wolfenstein veteran from the early 90's like me is used to using.
It also seemed to lag a bit, but not a huge amount, had a bit of stuttering, and very very consolised.
The game itself seemed nice, beautiful models, nice dark atmosphere and all that. But generally very generic and more based on action than scares. Overkill on the blood and guts (which isn't scary, just bloody), and lots of cutscenes and chases. This was just in the first 20 minutes, you understand.
So, for the price I am tempted. But I noticed they didn't bother to patch it at all. So, it will still run as badly as it did in the demo over a month ago.
I think I am going to say no, for the moment.
Maybe at 75% discount I will rethink.

Play the demo, it's pretty much has the same performance as the full version.
Except for the black bars and FPS limiter in the demo.

If the demo runs fine, then the full game will run fine too.

And as for the gameplay, 60hours (and still counting) speak itself I suppose.

Pc version is FAR superior than any console can offer! The game however have performance problems on all platforms, but pc still provides better experience. Try the demo to make sure your pc runs it well. Yes it worth it!

Nope ! As much as I love PC gaming and I even love this game I advice you stick to the Xbox One or PS4 version ! Why ? Because 1. This game will require a gamepad to be fully enjoyed and 2. It may crash constantly on your setup ! Of course you can play it with an Xbox 360 gamepad on your PC but why all the hassle when you can run it without the crashes on the two other consoles, cheers

Assuming it runs properly on your computer (as others have said try the demo), it is the best version of the game.

Did anyone mention that playing the demo would be a good idea?

I played it myself and while I did not have any problems with it crashing or glitching, the game itself did not seem interesting enough to warrant a sale. First level is quite amusing, but as you progress through the game, you start getting deja vu - the same tricks were used in Resident Evil games. Will wait for an even deeper sale before I get this.

How can it be a bad port when it performace worse on consoles :\, games good if your into these type of games, bargin at this price.

I had no issues with the game during my play through, if you got a good, stable pc and dont mind using a gamepad unlike some pc snobs round here you will enjoy.

I'm more worried about the game crashing every hour.

PC version doesn't deserve 1 euro..

Well it wont if you have a good pc, i mean a well maintained pc like:-

-steam folder excluded from realtime virus scanning.
-no dodgy codecs packs installed
-quality components especially PSU \ Ram \ hardisk and cooling.
-up to date drivers (gfx, sound, motherboard, ethernet drivers) and system bios.
-Updated windows updates \ direct x.
-dont use any reg cleaners \ tuning programs
-If running samsung ssd make sure you close the program ( cloe from sys tray ) before launching games as it causes issues with gfx drivers.

I can tick all those and never had the game crash on me. So if your pc follows what i listed you should not have issues unless the software is ♥♥♥♥.

The demo should give you a pretty good indicator of whether you will have issues or not.
