Something else i wonder additionally to all the other ''plot holes''
Why does sebastians missing poster only come up at the beginning of NG+?
what if
NG+ is canon
I'll leave you all to think of the rest of the potential implications yourselves
well it would explain why his missing poster only appears in NG+, but whether those poster appearances were ever canon who knows
the intro doesn't make sense WITHOUT being in STEM, Ruvik was a brain in a jar since before that even occured! Unless you're suggesting he has the power to walk around in the real world doing supernatural stuff in which case why does he even need Leslie or to do anything in STEM at all.
either sebastian was in stem from the start and still is at the end
or ruvik has powers in the real world which explains the noise when he sees "leslie" walking off and nobody else can see him
Leslie and Ruvik are two seperate people. Leslie is apparently the only one to have survived prior experiments with the STEM. The burned youngster was a memory of Ruviks viewed by Sebastian, apparently he was able to see this due to being hooked up to the STEM and therefore...could see some of Ruviks memories.
The burned boy is Ruvik in his past. Ruvik simply wants out of the STEM. Leslie posessed some kind of trait that made him compatible for Ruvik to transfer into his mind...taking Leslie over in the end. So at the end of the game, Leslie's mind is overpowered by Ruviks and Ruvik now controls Leslie. At least, this seems to be the general understanding.
we don't know that nobody else has survived, rather he was stated to be the only one who has ESCAPED out of STEM
Ah, fair point. I could have worded that better I suppose.
thats ok they didn't even tell us how he escaped or why it didn't work to get the rest of us out :C
I also have to wonder if the zombification is reversible, ie if you had kept the uniform cop alive at the start and he didn't die elsewhere, would he have gone back to normal upon beating ruvik even though he had been taken over?
and either we're still stuck in STEM, or ruvik has IRL superpowers which he can now take anywhere in leslies body :/
