[SPOILERS] Chapter 9 Safe Code?
Couldn't find it anywhere, so i looked it up and got the code, but none of the guides explain where it comes from and i really want to know. Is it to do with the Music Room Note? Some sort of riddle?

The code comes from the painting where you find the dials.

When you find the upper dial, there is a picture of 9 hanging people.
When you find the lower dial, you find a picture of 2 people. (The dials might need to be switched, can't remember.)

The code comes from how many people are in the painting above the dial when you find it.

I'm pretty sure it's 11 on top and 2 on the bottom, no matter what.

No offence OP. Maybe you thought you have more numbers to select to get it open. It's really that simple :)

I just put them in and began with
1-1.2.3.4.5-20
2-1.2.3.4.5.6.7.8.9.10.11. Tadaa X)

See i could have done that but i didn't feel comfortable lingering in one place with no nearby hiding spot in case Ruvik showed his face :P

Bit of a late reply but you don't actually need to hide from Ruvik, you can just simply walk circles around him and he'll eventually go away. I personally find it a better strat since whenever I hide he uses the forces to mush me!

I did it properly but I know you could spin the dials and have it solved really quickly, what beat did takes like 5 seconds. An extra dial like in the DLC would've stopped the puzzle being stupid.
