As for Ruvik he never came inside the puzzle rooms, but if he's causing trouble then take your time outside the room first, and wait till he spawns. So when he disppears, he doesn't bother you for a while.
Running in 2-3 diameter circles in one room also makes the Ruvik sequences easier, rather than running through doors like a headless chicken, from my experience.
Thanks, i'm making alot of progress. I didn't realize after the first time you successfully evade him, he attacks less. Figured out one of the brain puzzles too thankfully
