Can't Open Console Commands.

PLEASE HELP.

How are any of you even opening the console commands via Steam?

I did the Properties>General>Set Launch Option>+com_allowconsole 1

thing. I hit the Insert key in-game and nothing happens.

Getting fustrated. I just want more ammo is all. Maybe health but mainly ammo.

Are you sure you pressed the insert button? That was my mistake at first.

Nope, no problems getting the console to show with the command and pressing the insert key.

This is a long shot but maybe try disabling steam in-game overalay?

All I can say is I did this: Properties>General>Set Launch Option>+com_allowconsole 1

Then, I went in-game. hit the Insert Key (in the menu AND in the actual game). Nothing happens.

I'll try this "disable steam in-game overalay" thing.

This "disable steam in-game overalay" FINALLY opened it, but I put both God (mode) and G_infiniteammo and neither worked i fired several rounds, reloaded, and i still run out.

I know this whole ordeal sounds like an annoying pain in the butt but that's because it is.

I'll keeping messing with it, but I get the feeling it still might not work for me if it's not taking the commands.

If it doesn't, thanks for trying to help anyway.

I'll probably just run around with a gun with no ammo screaming like a scared little girl the way I have been the entire game. :}

Press insert to open the console command and type "g_infiniteammo 1" (without the quotations of course).

You have to put the "1" cause that turns it on.

God mode works it just means you don't take damage.

In the console command when you type "God" and press enter it should say "God mode: ON". And then if you type it again it will give the message "God Mode: OFF".

It toggles it on and off.

I figured out the ammo part. It was too late at night to comment back.

._. Yah, idk why all the cheat sites for this game don't mention "1" after the ammo cheat. something as dumb as one number missing is just a big derp.

I was thinking Skyrim when I tried it because I remember a 1 or 0 after commands.
