I had this a couple of times as well try changing the Anti-Alias settings to SMAA instead of the default FXAA that did it for me!
I disabled the console debug stuff from earlier since I wasn't getting 60fps consistently, but solid performance at 30fps locked and the game looks stellar. Perplexing why it's crashing like this so randomly, apparently the engine the game is running on doesn't support SLI but the Nvidia GeForce site says otherwise.
Edit: Crashed yet again...
Terrible graphics, The clunkyest, SH!TTIEST FKN PERFORMANCE I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY DAMN LIFE HANDS DOWN, The crappiest texture pop i have ever seen, The blurriest damn graphics on earth when outside, This game is a pile of HORSE SH1T.
Whoever charged $60 for this piece of trash should be arrested.
even just aiming the damn guns with a controller feels like i am controlling a damn rusty robot.
The mechanical cogwheels powering this games engine feel like they are clogged up by 6 inches of rust and dirt.
And not only that but the freaking thing crashes like a piece of horse trash! right now i am at a mission where i have to protect this guy defusing a door bomb And i have crashed 7 times in a row so far! Every time i get closer and closer to the end of the sequence but this PIECE OF TRASH SORRY EXCUSE FOR A VIDEO GAME is A PIECE OF GARBAGE
i7 3770k, radeon R9 290x, 16gb ram, 240gb SSD drive and i havent had a PC game crash in the last 5yrs on this thing. And my gpu/cpu temps are fine.
However, I have all of my steam games installed on a separate HDD from my OS. Not saying this is the problem, but there have been steam games in the past that for some strange reason had problems being on the same HDD as the OS. TBH, I've had very little crash issues with all of my games (new and old) ever since I moved them on to their own dedicated HDD. I literally use my D: drive for steam games only.
The game is so good. It's a shame to see PCs with better than average specs crashing the game. Hope this helps.
Same here.
Bethesda told me it could be the source of the problem. They ask me to install my game on my OS drive, but I can't because there's not 50 gigas left on it). Can anyone test this "solution"?
Really? I was just guessing lol. If you have the room, a 1TB HDD is fairly inexpensive.
"The local The Evil Within files do not match the files on the Steam Cloud"
I got this message when I had tried to start up my save for The Evil Within around chapter 3. I have noticed this with some other games I have on Steam. Friggin updates. Question is it the developer updates or a Steam issue?
Specs:
AMD FX-9370 Vishera 8-core CPU 4.4 GHz
PNY GeForce GTX 770 4 GB 256-bit GDDR5
16 GB DDR3 2400
So...why are we crashing?... o_0
