Sup With The Brass Knuckles?

i finished the game on Akumu mode and as a bonus i was given a set of Brass Knuckles
after i finished the game i replayed some chapters in NG+ (Casual mode) and i mopped up some missing achievements
after that i played and finished the DLC
now i would like to re-play some chapters trying out the Brass Knuckles but i cant seem to start any chapter where i have them in my inventory
i tried NG+ Akumu but whatever chapter i load up i dont seem to have the Knuckles
at first i thought they were automatically equipped but i am not noticing any real difference when i hit an enemy Sebastian is not showing any Brass Knuckles on his hands
any way to check if i actually have the Knuckles?

As long as you are NG+ing with your Akumu (or Nightmare) save you should get the brass knuckles on any diffiiculty you choose. The Brass Knuckles will be both visible in-game on Sebastian's fist (just one) and will also be visible in the inventory. It wont seem like a big deal if you haven't upgraded your melee damage. If you maximize your melee damage a fist punch will kill almost any enemy in the game with one strike... like an axe! Please note that you must clear your hands for this to work... if you pistol (or any weapon) whip an enemy it wont do max damage. Remember that you can either select the Brass Knuckles through the inventory or by clearing your hands (same key you use to cancel out of views or use matches).

Just make sure that after clicking New Game + you choose the correct Akumu save file you beat the game with and then choose any stage or difficulty. The only reason I can think of that you aren't getting your brass knuckles is that you are choosing the wrong save file. If it is a glitch I haven't heard of it before...

this must be my problerm
every save file i have wont give me the knuckles
its possible i overwrote the Akumu save file by mistake and yet i do have ALL of the other weapons given as a bonus when completing the game ..second sniper rife,burst hand gun ..etc..etc
i hate when that happens
why make the save system so difficult?
