start up glitch

i first bought the game on a different gaming laptop a time ago and it would start up fine. now i download it on this gaming laptop, it runs the first few logo screens but then begins flashing in and out of frame messing with the whole pc. and the only way ive been able to get it to stop is to alt f4 immedietly or shut down the pc entirely. how do i fix this?
update- it is working now, but only in small screen, if i go to full screen it spazzes out

game launcher needs to create folder
c:\users\yourWIndowsLogin\saved games\tangogameworks\the evil within\base
to store your config/preference file the evil withinConfig.cfg and your savegame folder

does the file and folder exist?

check antivirus log and windows security/controlled folder access

the small screen usually indicates it is opening with a default window as it does not know what screen size/resolution to draw since there is no config file to read

Anyone having the issue , when the screen starts to flicker press alt+enter and set your resultion.

I start up and see the first few producers videos then black screen with no audio and I have to alt f4 to get out. I've googled it and the only things I could see didn't work. If anyone has any ideas

I have the same problem. I can't make the game run after the initial logos with my new PC, screen loses signal and I need to Alt+F4 to regain control. Any help?

EDIT: the Alt+Enter trick worked for me!
