Game bricks my monitor
I go to launch the game and it goes straight to a black screen, then my monitor loses signal. I can't reboot the GPU or anything to establish signal again with my monitor. I have to walk over to my PC and manually power it down improper and power it back up. Not exactly willing to troubleshoot something that when it goes wrong involves me shutting my PC off and on improperly over and over.

12700K
4070 ti
Windows 11
Everything up to date it's a brand new PC build.

Had the same issue- try hitting Alt-Enter to force windowed mode. Then setup your preferred resolution & should be fixed for next launch

Also- on the game exe (Evilwithin.exe) you'll want to tick "Disable full-screen optimisations" in the properties>Compatibility tab

Same exact issue for me, with similar hardware and software. Though Dudroot fixes did not work for me. Uninstalling/reinstall game does not fix the issue. I ended up refunding the game. Haven't moved on because my negative review of my experience is getting slammed by fanboys (mostly in Private messages).

Exact same situation for me on beefy hardware. Ridiculous.
