Reading Documents.

When I pick up a document I can read the text that's visible, but if I need to scroll in order to read the whole text I'm in trouble because the scrolling function doesn't seem to wrok. I could miss some important information because of this.

Does anybody know how to solve this issue? ... Thanks in advance, guys.

P.S. Clicking and dragging the scrolling bar doesn't work either and nor does using the arrow/up-down keys.-- I've even tried Page Up/Down, lol. But of course that didn't work either.

I just tried not moving the mouse but I found that I have to move it at least in order to choose what category of inventory/documents I want to view, and apparently - if not moving the mouse is what it takes - that destroyed this option for me.

But thank you for posting the suggestion, it was definitely worth a try.

EDIT: I just tried again and found a way to not use the mouse to choose document category. Somehow, using the up/down keys choose the right category of documents for me and from there it was easy to avoid moving the mouse....And voila, it worked.

Once you hit escape you can use WASD, enter, tab key, and page up/page down to navigate everything. No mouse needed.

Thank you for mentioning the Tab key. I think I might otherwise have forgotten that it was most likely this key that enabled me to use the up/down/left/right keys which I couldn't use before when I clicked the LMB to get into the inventory.

On yet another try I find that using the scrolling function doesn't always work even if you follow the guidelines. I recommend using ONLY Enter (to get into the Archive, or whichever section you want to access), Tab to choose the folder with the item you want to view, Up/Down/Left/Right to choose the item/document you want to view, and Page-Up/Down when you view/read the item/document.

I have tested the above a few times in a row and it works every time (while using the mouse scroll does not).

I don't honestly think you're missing much anyway. Even those whom try to closely follow the story often say it's weak and makes little if any sense.

That said, the game more than makes up for the crazy story in solid gameplay.
