I did it. DLCs worth it or continue with The Evil Within 2?

I started to play The Evil Within 2. After 2 hours I decided to play the first game first to know the background story.
That was a hard experience, and it was not always a pleasure. Now I think about playing the DLCs. Can you recommend these? I think the main game was really frustrating sometimes. Don't want to go through this misery again with the DLCs. Or can I skip them and go on with The Evil Within 2 and have no missing story links?

If u plan on playing Evil within 2, I recommend playing 2 Julie Kidman DLCs, except executioner (EDIT: The Keeper is optional and u dont have to buy it). Otherwise, ur gonna miss out a lot on stories. The real villain (the one who pull the strings since the beginning) is revealed on DLC and Evil Within 2

Be warned though, Kidman DLC is based mostly on stealth (until you get a gun later on).

Imo it's worth it since the gameplay of the DLCs are vastly different than the gameplay of TEW 2.
In the DLCs you barely have any combat.

Imo only get the Kidman DLCs. I didn't really like the Keeper's DLC.

Thank you all. Will buy the two Kidman DLCs and play The Evil Within 2 when I have finished these.. I really like the story.

Definitly The Kidman DLC's worth it! And TEW2 is a great suite.
