Quick and the Dead -- are deaths time penalties?
If I die in a section and let it load my auto save, then finish the chapter, does it count towards my play time both from that checkpoint until I died, AND from that checkpoint until the end of the chapter?

I think I phrased that more complicated than needed, for the sake of being specific. But basically, is letting the game load my last save the same as loading it myself?

there's no manual quicksave, so yes, you could say it's a penalty.

It count's but I believe if you pause and load the save yourself it does not count, your death also isn't counted.

I suspected as much. Seems I have a few minutes wasted on my run in that case.

Similarly, when I do that stupid Executioner one, I suppose I should always reload if I die as well, instead of letting the game do it, just in case.

Finished in a little over 4 hours. Can't believe that was even possible. In fairness, it was my first New Game+ and I had a huge amount of upgrades and special weapons that would not be available to me normally. I did it on survival instead of what people apparently usually do, which is casual. Playing on casual didn't feel right to me as a concept, so I didn't.

Tested akumu a little bit. I can't quite tell what I'm in for but I can tell it's going to be interesting.

Akumu? People well experienced tend to enjoy it, I know I did and I learnt a lot about how to play properly. Good luck!
