The mouse issue...resolution?
Wanted to play through Evil Within again before the sequel released, and I totally forgot about the bizarre mouse issue. Is there a fix for this behavior?

It's not 'floaty' as people describe. It's more like a native analog joystick control within the engine has been clunkily adapted to work with mice. The acceleration of your swipe is representative of the tilt of an analog control or something. It's so bad and annoying. Is there a workaround for this?

Edit: It's the behavior in the menu screens. It doesn't seem to be present within the actual gameplay.

you can dig through the dev console for mouse related variables, but if it's limited to the menus only it very well may not be something easily tweaked.
Yeah the PC version has an annoying strange mouse feeling in the menus but in-game it is OK for me.

Just playing this for the first time on PC after originally beating it on PS4 when it came out. I noticed it as well until I changed it from 30fps locked to 60. After that it felt smoother/more accurate.

Depending on your mouse you can download a third party software and adjust your dpi according to the way you want in game... i did that with my logitech mouse and it worked fine, but notice that this is only for ingame input, the menus are laggy and that cant be fixed due to the bad port made for this game , it was originally for xbox 360 and ps3, the port to PC is a joke and only works properly if you use a joystick so unfurtenely you have to get used to it
