Controller Not Working?

I was messing with the menu and somehow the controller stopped working and the game only shows keyboard prompts. Anyone know how to fix this?

This is one of the buggiest games I've ever played. It crashes on load, it crashes during gameplay. It crashes everywhere.

My xbox one controller works on the title screen, but when the message telling it's loading my profile appearsthen it stops working.

I use a PS4 controller using this software: http://ds4windows.com/
You can even set the trackpad to be a button like the inventory menu.

What I mean is that it detects the controller but only certain buttons work. It used to work perfectly then for some reason it stopped working. You shouldn't need to use DS4 windows with steam anymore. Steam supports the DS4.

I had a similar problem where my controller worked fine until the "loading profile data" prompt, then it would not work on the Title Menu at all. I managed to fix my issue by going into Steam, Settings, Controller, General Controller Settings an making sure "Xbox Configuration Support" was checked on. Leaving a comment just in case this solution might help anyone with the problem I had.
