Is there any chance you'd change that greyish background into proper black? I can see that it's a design / style choice, but at least optional filter in video settings would be awesome, for those people that want to play this on oled monitors (I hate elevated blacks). Just a thought of course, waiting for full release....

small bug

-the anxious whistle to convert animals is not controlled by the volume of the options so it is really loud when the rest of sounds are ok. -on gamepad the joystick deadzone is a bit too small, I was walking without moving wich prevented me from using the whistle and died :)...

button layout is confusing

It's not good that select & cancel buttons are reversed compared to other steam games. Is it only for Japanese version? xbox button layout is penetrated in Japan today, so I think you don't need to change the button layout for Japanese. And the menu button is also confusing. I want setting menu in title and stage select too....
