Anyone picked up an epic or legendary gear? At all?

One of my gripes about the game was how unrewarding it is. I am a level 64 with Khazan, and still rocking level 54 gear, which are mostly rare. The rest is common and uncommon. This is part of what makes the boss fights so long and drawn out.

When are players able to start seeing some really useful gear/gearsets?

Common, Uncommon, Rare and Unique are the tiers you'll see in NG, with some rare exceptions really late into the game (and the jars, obviously). For the most part, Epic and Legendary tiers are reserved for NG+ and NG++ respectively.

You can just level your weapons and epic gear is mostly for the additional playthroughs
