Just got to her - that's downright human rights violation, she just does a single combo than fcks off to a corner to regen stamina at like x10 my speed, like hello? can i play the game maybe?
I have literally no way to break her stamina...

shes meant to be circled around and hit the back which feels terrible

Here is a hint. She has a shield and guards a lot. And the game gives you a full Deep Shadow Set in that same mission if you explore a bit. And that set gives you 90% guard penetration when wearing only 4 pieces of gear so even though its a spear set any build can actually run it for the guard pen.

It really does help a lot. I struggled against her until I changed my gear and did it in 2 or 3 tries then with guard pen.

I beat her with dual wield, no summons, guard penetration or other noob crutch cheese.

You just hit her in the back. It's that simple. There's even a ring/ammy with a 20% rear attack set bonus. A lot of her attacks offer very safe and predictable windows.

some of her stuff if you parry it leaves her open to counter attack, if you do it into heavy to keep breaking her stamina you can stagger combo her. some of the stuff she does leaves her open from the side/back if you dodge around the side of it, again, letting you combo into something heavy and stagger her. when she's low on stamina and blocking trying to recover it, heavy attacking can break her. don't forget during exhaust if you position behind her you can keep hitting her in the back for extra damage/stagger for a bit after.

Just let her do a thing and then punish her on repeat. Make her come to you and the fight is way easier.

beat with greatsword only leveled strength and proficiency,
have the frontal assault 2 piece, the charge dmg 2 piece and chaos ridden 2 piece
all i did was wait and brink guard or counterstrike then do the swift follow up.
i think eventually you either do more stamina dmg or her max stamina shortens until you do a brutal attack because i was actually exhausting her during her strings from full stamina.

I just finished 2nd elamiane, and I have to say...

The first fight was fun

The second fight was glorious and by far my favorite fight in the game so far.

You're nuts if you have any complaints about this boss.

You can always fight her again later without one if you need to scratch that itch

Yeah, just pop on 4 Deep Shadow pieces and she's toast.

the dark devourer set for greatsword works great. It guarantees poison on a brutal attack. So even when she bubbles the poison is damaging her HP and bubble at the same time. Sometimes her bubble will randomly break because of the constant damage its taking.

I found her way easier than previous bosses, I beat her after 3 or 4 tries with the spear. Use shadow reversal and use spirit to quickly deplete her last remaining stamina. If you perfect parry her big combo it makes it easier too. I'm using 4 pieces of butcher and 2 pieces of Deep shadow (weapon + boots) so I can keep A agility. I don't use summons at all like in every soul game, it feels too cheap xD
