I thought Metaphor was great, but I won't lie I definitely began to feel burnt out with the gameplay as I got closer to the end. Now, I know that turn based games can get repetitive, but I REALLY started to feel the repetitiveness in this, especially while doing the late game dungeons.

Like most ATLUS games, they make you basically play the entire game twice for 100% achievements, so that didn't help the burnout I was feeling at all. But if you are willing to put in the time, the game isn't that hard to fully complete.

Regardless, I like the archetype system, social links are pretty good, the main party is sick, and I love Metaphor's artstyle.

A perfect combination of social links and calendar from Persona with the press turn combat system of Shin Megami Tensei. Mix that with a deep story full of twists and politics, while topping it off with a beyond perfect main antagonist (for once i want the villain to win) quite literally makes this the best game from Atlus yet.

Metaphor Refantazio is therefore the superior game and far more successful than Persona.
