Question about Persona series vs Metaphor
Hi all

I've just finished playing Persona 5 and while overall I found it an enjoyable experience I don't think that it's one that I want to repeat again. While the character and the story were fantastic I didn't like very much the core gameplay loop of having to plan (and sometimes remember) weekly activities in order to upgrade stats and befriend confidants. I found stressful the idea of having to follow a specific routine to be able to experience all the relationships without having to play the game more than once

While I expect that some of the mechanics I described made their way to Metaphor as well (I played a good chunk of the demo so far, but I have not finished it) I was wondering if they are as strict as persona or if they are more relaxed and allow to easily experience all the relevant parts of the game without having to replay it

Compared to Persona, it is quite easy to max out all social stats/royal virtues and social links/followers on your first playthrough.

As a reference, I am now in a second-to-last dungeon of the game and only one of my followers is not at max rank (which I still have ample time to do once I'm done with all the fighting). Did not use any guides and was not planning my days like crazy - was mostly going with the flow.

So yeah, as far as Atlus games go, this one is more suited for a one-time experience.
