Demo Save Data

On PS5, just wanted to post here too to see if PC players had similar issues.

When I first booted up the game, it asked if I wanted to transfer my demo save. I fat-fingered my d-pad and accidentally selected no. Rebooted the game, no option. Checked settings, no option. Uninstalled and reinstalled, no option. Guess you get one shot at this and then it's gone for good. I farmed archetype xp and items, 50 hour save gone. Refunded.

I'm on Steam Deck and the prompt didn't appear. I assume because they have different proton folders and I need to manually copy the data over.

Windows - Run - enter %appdata% use search function for "metaphor"
Location will be AppData\Roaming\Sega\METAPHOR\Steam

Backup data just incase, dont think it includes the demo data.

You wrote to much stuff got bored.

Go to Settings > Saved Data and Game/App Settings. Select Saved Data (PS5) Select Delete from Console Storage. Then reload the game. Im hoping ps5 isnt a piece of poop and doesn't save settings files separately, which i know 100% cant be accessed

you should be able to delete your Metaphor saves on PS5 - maybe turn off Playstation plus autosaves or even just disconnect from the internet to prevent the save from re-downloading, and try again

I don't have any saves to delete. I literally just hit the start screen. I completely uninstalled the game and reinstalled. No dice.
