Question about the final area *SPOILERS*
So, in regards to all of those re-fights of the various human bosses throughout the story (not sure why Greatworm ♥♥♥♥ Butera is one of them and why Gallica is the character associated with it, sure you fight it, but I do believe actually killing it is part of Bardon's Follower Bond which is optional, granted I imagine a lot of players would max out all of the follower bonds), while they are optional, is this like an Persona 2: Eternal Punishment-esque situation where the more of them you kill, the weaker you make the final boss? Or do you just get the best weapon for each Archetype? I know the last accessible bad ending is choosing to stay in the world More offers to you, so I know there should be no bad end associated by skipping each of these bosses.

Yes. "Weaker" in a sense that his Turn Icons are reduced (has 8 if you don't destroy any of the crystals) and he is unable to use some of his more powerful skills. Not sure if it affects his HP and attack power, though.

Also yes. Well, technically the best - there are weapons with an attack power of 500 for you and each ally, but getting them requires reaching 90% and 100% Archetype mastery. Which, I reckon, is not something a majority of players would achieve on their first playthrough.

Well then, it’s a good thing I had multiple save files! I tried fighting the final boss and after getting through the long and tedious first phase, the second more or less wrecked me. I cooked a number of SP restoring stuff so it looks like I will definitely need them lol. Just wish there was another way for the party’s SP to restore in the final dungeon so I may conserve them.

Speaking to Neuras and choosing the option to rest in the gauntlet runner fully restores everyone's HP and MP for free.

Speak for yourself. Had them all. All jobs lvl 20, all things m attack could buy unlock. And maxed ma attack and gold at end of game.

500 weapons were nice but overkill, not needed.

Cool. You're not a majority, then.

Alternatively, if you don't want to go back to the start for whatever reason,

1. Prince gets a skill that gives MP and HP back every time an ally gets a support attack in overworld combat. You can attack and get MP back for every strike from an ally, or dodge roll and get it back that way.
2. Mage lineage still gives MP back when killing weak enemies. By this point, you should be able to one-tap the Teeth. Just watch out for the BIG Teeth.
