More options opens up the role playing experience. Less options limits player agency and immersion.
so i can't really say i miss it that much
In addition, saying "it's bad/unnecessary because it's just a pair of rushed scenes" shouldn't even be considered a fair argument, because even within the Persona series, there are main story arcs that are literally rushed, and it doesn't necessarily made it bad.
Did everyone already forgot about P5 ending arc?
Agree, I would love also something similar to Fire Emblem Three Houses.
Honestly even in BG3 it's really silly how you just act decent towards someone and five seconds later they want to get inside your pants lmao.
You say silly, I say "Why not?"
Persona romances felt similarly tacked on, with the binary "friend/partner" decision available for all potential love interests at the end of their story arcs. Excising those out for this game takes nothing from the experience or the character interactions.
