Am I f*cked ? (Bond level)

Ive reach Mortira and Ive recruted Heismay and I am still level 1 bond with both Strohl and Hulkenberg.

I never had any chance to raise after these few days at Grand Trad where they were available. Ive checked in some Guides that level 2 is described to unlock at Grand Trad back then that's it.

I hope this is not a bug, pretty sure I can get to level 2 but I don't know when.
I don't understand devs choice to prevent me of doing that at any downtime ??

i mean you'll be able to go back to gran trad pretty quickly, but i am surprised in 9 days you didn't even talk to them once

Well Ive tried but only Brigitta and Maria are available for me. Ive tried to do some events with them on the Gauntlet Runner, still nothing.

well the second part was moreso surprised you didn't talk to them the week you had in town before the timer ran out, but yeah, you'll be back eventually

I wanted to prioritize the off-party bonds (Maria and Brigitta), upgrading my social skills or whatever its called in english and doing activities in the city because I knew Hulk and Strohl would be there with me for the whole game so I waited to do the activity with them.

I didnt know it wouldnt be available for a long time and there would be a TP system to go back to Gran Trad easily and fast to get.

You can have them up at 3, maybe even 4 back in Grand Trad.
Party members wont be available for bond time untill you finished the mission in the area. For that reason you want to complete the mission as soon as you can.

You can also only do their bond event in town, not while you are on the Gauntlet Runner.

For Bond levels you need to also level up your Royal whatever the things are called. Basically the 5 social stats, also you don't NEED to be in Grand Trad for party member bond levels. I've done Strohl/Hulkenberg bond levels 4-6 on the gauntlet runner cuz it's all just cutscenes and dialogue.

Oh that must be it because I do the main mission in the very last day, and I learnt yesterday that it was the wrong approach since there are side content I may get if the main mission is done first... (Never played any Persona or SMT) Which for me is not a logical approach but anyway, it is what it is.
