My gripe with the character is how utterly boring and un-interesting he is. Only briefly played the demo but even the bandits attacking the caravan were more interesting and I would rather get to know more about them than I do this table cloth of a character. =/

He looks dumb, i have a really hard time getting into games that have a wimp MC or if they look stupid, i thought he was a girl till he talked im like oh ok its a boy whats with the hair and the hairpiece, also his outfit is just beyond stupid looking. Id rather play as a girl who looks like a girl than this boy just saying.

If you played the demo, you pick up Grius pretty early on, should you require a traditionally masculine role model. He should help maintain your interest throughout the rest of the game.

Maybe its just me. But as a JRPG fan a lot of the main hero in games if he is male is always kind of a girly pretty boy. Than 1 of your party members or your main best friend is more of the tanky super tuff type. I think its mostly the art style and just the way JRPG games go. To me i don't really care as long as its a fun game with good game play.
