Early blocked in rank progression with Hulkenberg and Strohl

Hello.
So...
I had the possibility to progress the Hulkenberg and Strohl relationships to rank 3 during the first trip with the gauntlet runner, but I missed it, thinking I could do that later.
But "later" never came, and I'm now in Brilehaven. I did a lot of gauntlet runner trips and still nothing. Am I forever blocked in rank 2 with Hulkenberg and Strohl ?

I had issue with this too. You have to beat the main dungeon of the area first and then they unlock on the gauntlet runner. Hope this helps!

It's probably just a scripted event issue. You'll get plenty of time to improve ranks as the game goes on provided that you've been focusing on improving your Royal Virtues.

OK, thanks, I'll try that in this area ! I'll see if it works.

Party member bonds are only available if you cleared the current deadline's dungeon.
For this reason you want to clear them sooner rather then later.

Aside from that, if there's no bond icon, try talking to them anyway. Sometimes you will get a textbox message saying something like ''I have to talk to them on the gauntler runner/in town next'', which might be required to activate that bond conversation.
