"Spent time with ???" "Hung out at ???"

Am I missing something? I've just entered July, about to head to a mandatory July story segment (literally the first thing you do in July) and prior I would check Everybody's Voice and see people spending time with question mark or hanging out at an unknown place.

But I searched EVERYWHERE, and found nobody I hadn't met, and no places I had not been.

What am I missing? How are others finding people and places I haven't been introduced to yet?

alll ??? people are characters you either haven't met yet (story) or come from side quests(make sure to do them)

But that's my point. How have I not met them yet? I'm fairly certain I've done literally everything. It's not physically possible for me to have advanced the bulk of my followers further than I have now. As early as the first 2 or 3 days I had control and free reign of Grand Trad, I was seeing people meeting someone I hadn't met...How could they do that?

because there is a quest in grand trad in that first week that requires level 2..wisdom(?) and until you do that you cannot get that quest, and until you get that quest you cannot do the ??? dungeon or the social link.

It could be Neuras, which unlocks the "Gunner" Archetype. To obtain the follower bond, you have to complete "Providing a Spark" in Komero.

I wonder if the ''day 1 of chapter'' ??? is people on their NG+. I dont know if this is the case, but if the game keeps the quest items its possible they could immediately complete new follower quests on the same day.
