Zorba Boss Fight Help
Hey guys,
I need help defeating Zorba, specifically when he summons the two zombies. The first round is normal, but then he buffs them, and I take a lot of damage. How do I take less damage when the two zombies are buffed?

Thanks, everyone! I finally defeated Zorba. It took a few tries, but I did it. The PC community is truly one of a kind.

If you kill one every turn he always uses a turn to summon and then non buffed zombies do weak attacks that are easy to deal with. They are weak to fire and light. Brawler has a sync attack that is light element that works really well here. I beat him with Mage, Warrior (using the dragon sword to get fire element press turns) and Brawler. Gank a zombie then use your press turns to smack him in face. Make sure the Mage has the heal from Healer in his flex slot.
you have to kill the zombies as they come. if he has two on the field, you probably lose. brawler's light synthesis work well in keeping them down, and it gives you two more turns to work with. have people with inherited hama and heals.

My strategy was a little different. I mostly attacked Zorba with Strohl (brawler) and Hulkenberg (knight) with protag supporting as a healer. When two zombies were up I would have Hulkenberg taunt so they couldn't attack protag when berserked, and then one-shot them with hama. I had Strohl inherit Dei from Seeker so he could heal himself and Hulkenberg as necessary and otherwise use Perfect Punch on Zorba.
Zombies are weak to fire and light, ensure you have some means of hitting those elements (e.g. Bot / Hama or the Brawler synthesis attack).

Just don't let the zombies pile up. If you really wanna be goofy then you can always run 3 Warriors, inherit magic to them, then on the bonus press turns, hack away at the boss with Peerless Stonecleaver which will majorly delete his health bar.

You need to weigh the value of killing his zombies. They do much more damage than Zorba, so they're worth killing. However, he can summon a zombie every turn (2 per turn on hard mode).

I'm playing on hard mode, and so I wasn't really able to reliably kill a zombie every turn while also damaging Zorba and also keeping my team healed. I basically ignored the zombies and funnelled all my damage onto Zorba. I had a Healer or a Mage inheriting the group heal (I forget which one, but it doesn't really matter too much), a warrior, and a knight.
The strategy was basically to have the knight taunt any time anyone else was below like 80% HP, and let the healer/mage use their heal spell almost every round. This let me keep my party close to full health. My warrior also had the single target heal from seeker for the occasional times I needed a little more health, but would otherwise focus on slamming damage onto Zorba. If my knight didn't need to taunt and I had the 2 turn icons to spare, I would have them do the combo move that hit a single target (Zorba) and lower their defence.
It was basically a brute force method, but I didn't really have a lot of other options at the time outside of just grinding or leaving the dungeon to prepare, which felt like wasting a day.

Evaporate Zorba before he's able to summon two and buff them as well. No, this is not a joke.

- Strohl (Brawler) and Hulkenberg (Knight) in the front row. MC (Mage) in the back row.
- Make sure Strohl has Tarukaja inherited from the Seeker archetype.
- Use zombos as a fodder for MC to get extra Press Turns.
- On Strohl's turn, buff Hulkenberg's attack.
- On Hulkenberg's turn, use "Hammer of Justice" synthesis skill on Zorba.
- Rince and repeat. Took two HoJ's and a few Perfect Punches to finish him off.

Side note: All done on Hard difficulty, with everyone being at Level 16 (Zorba himself is Level 19). So if you're playing on Normal, you should be able to destroy him even faster.
Yes as many said focus on the zombies as zorba will always waste a turn to summon more and zorba deals much more damage than the zombies. If youre really struggling inherit skills that are effective against zombies and try to grind some experience from respawned enemies to make the fight easier. The exploding dudes on the chapel are easy to kite in the overworld and farmable since even if you dont hit them you gain xp when they blow up. i gained some levels that way and made the fight easier
you could put holy on everyone and just 1 turn each zombie in like 1-3 actions and then spend the remaining 3 beating zorba up, repeat a few times.
Strohl Brawler and Hulkenberg Brawler and MC Healer, just go full DPS Zorba and healing like mad man, I do that, full brainroot dps and done hahaha
I only killed the zombies once he buffed them with madness. Other than that I targeted Zorbo.

Took a few tries before I figured this out. At first I was wasting all my turns killing the zombies.
I won with the starting classes Seeker, Soldier and Knight. I focused on Zorbo while ignoring the zombies. This was a challenging but winnable fight on normal with the default classes.

I'm also going to include a small but relevant spoiler here about something that happens right after this boss fight. I'll be as vague as possible but still include spoiler tags. This is information I wish I had going into the battle There is another boss fight after this one. You will not be able to visit the shop to buy items in between the two fights. Don't waste all your healing items on the first boss fight

go Brawler and Knight spam hammer of justice on Zorba. Dies in 3 turns even on hard so before he even sets up Rage on the zombies. can go seeker for Tarukaja on your Knight to ensure he dies quick

I gave everyone hama and eradicated the zombies as soon as they appeared, then used any free turns to damage Zorba. Without the zombies he just wastes his turns re-summoning them so you can power through it. Sounds like there's a few ways to do it, though.
Uh??? I went in with 3 merchants and spammed gold toss. I ignored the zombies and attacked Zorba directly. 3 merchants makes the fight after Zorba really easy too.
