I Want to Try This Game but...

The main character looks so dumb. Either make a girl MC or guy MC, but this androgynous, effeminate "male" MC isn't it.

The gameplay looks good and I've heard it's a lot of fun, I just don't think I can get over how the MC looks like a femboy on his way to get dommed.

MC look perfectly normal to me. sounds like it is mostly in your head, you probably read too much yaoi in your free time. just get over it, be normal and play the game properly. MC isn't that feminine looking, it is you being too horny.

I always laugh at people that can't handle certain types of protagonists in games...

I am not really a fan of the protag's look either, but I am not going to ignore a GREAT game solely for one stupid reason like that...

It's kind sad how people like you are so resistant to anything that doesn't appeal to your aesthetic preferences that you would simply ignore an otherwise great game SOLEY for that reason...

also they want to appeal to kids so the mc must be young enough that kids could identify with it.

this is the problem when you try to satisfy everyone with minimal work.

There are levels...

I absolutely despise "woke" games. What I mean by that is games that hamfist and push an agenda soley to check a DEI checkbox and sacrifice game quality and story to do so.

Mass Effect Andromeda was terrible for this reason, it was absolutely ridiculous how agenda pushing and hamfisted the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in that game was. So was Concord and dustborn, absolutely awful

This game on the other hand, might have "woke" themes like racism, prejudice, perfect communist utopias, etc... But nothing in the 33 hours I have played felt forced or out of place, everything that has happened felt natural to the story, as such it has my GLOWING recommendation...

TLDR:
"Woke" ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that feels forced and agenda pushing sucks. However as long as everything feels natural to the flow of the story and not "forced" I have no problems with various "woke" themes.

I would argue most people despise poor quality games rather than "woke." games. Mass Effect Andromeda is a poor game for a variety of reasons far beyond its messaging. Meanwhile, Baldurs Gate 3 is an excellent game for a variety of reasons, despite its "woke" elements.

The measure of quality in a game is found in the game itself, rather than any particular messaging it may contain. So too this game.

For me it entirely depends on if the "agenda" or "woke themes" in the game feel forced.
If nothing feels "forced" i am good to go regardless of themes presented in the game.
If things feel forced or out of place, I will avoid the game out of principal...

Baldurs Gate 3 was crazy "woke" but everything felt fairly natural to the way the story presented itself. Not to mention it was an exceptionally title with very high quality. So even if some things DID feel forced, I MIGHT have been able to overlook it.

That said, the OP is on a whole other level and a dreg on society.
Anyone that chooses to skip a quality game SOLELY because of the protagonists aesthetics (race, look, gender, or otherwise) is ridiculous and deserves to be laughed at.

That's just wrong. Aesthetics are a huge part of video games. People generally don't like characters that they think look dumb/unattractive.
