👾 Minor bugfixes:

Item Icons in the hotbar no longer change when clicked.
Reworked option menus; No irrelevant options and a better layout for adjusting volumes.
Smoother screen transitions.
Several minor visual adjustments.
Several minor QoL adjustments.

👾 New Features:

New NPCS, Beggar & Mystic.
INSPECTs and interactives now have an alternative prompt when the hunter's drunk.
New interactions with Ax, Will, and Wan.
Companions now have an affection gauge.
New Interactives around 2F.
New 'Spooky encounter' in 2F.
New Collectibles.
New Librarian scene.
New Nightmare Sequences.
New Secret Cutscene.
'Hunter Quest' expansion.

What started as a short 3-month project, has turned into a multi-year long endeavor, there are still several bugs to tackle and many new scenes to come! Please look forward to the final release of Rose Bullet, later this year.

Greetings all!

First, I'd like to apologize for the long period of silence.
Worry not, the game is not dead, just resting!

To keep a long story short, a handful of factors have kept me from finishing this last update, and to make matters worse, there's this "upcoming new expansion for a critically acclaimmed MMO" that's sure to keep me busy for the next couple months.

But fret not!
Development is planned to pick up pace in August, aiming for a full release during Halloween season!
This final version will include new areas, puzzles and endings!
Stay tuned for further updates!

Bugs I found

As the title says, I found some bugs not very far into the game that required me to start from the menu both times. Both came after I killed the witch in the cave with the rose bullet: the first time, I went back to the crimson village and reloaded the pistol at the shop, but then I couldn't get back on the road because it said "you can't fast travel in an encounter." I assume this was referring to the witch fight even though it already ended. The second time, I used the whip on the witch, but since I took...

May contains spoiler. Church cannot be visited. Issues appeared to be caused by black screen overlay. I can still go back to the village if I click where the UI box should be.
