MAJOR glitch in the wild west area of this game

I've hit this glitch twice, so i know it's not just a fluke. When trying to change characters in the last area of the rooftop part, there's a glitch that sends you back to another rooftop and the character you're trying to change to repeatedly jumps off the roof and there's nothing you can do to stop it. I've tried everything. You basically have to restart the whole level over again (which is extremely frustrating because this is a very long level compared to the others). I think it has something to do with the cutscene where they're ziplining over to the other rooftop. Let's just hope for a bug fix, i suppose...

I literally just played that level and didn't have a problem, maybe you were just very unlucky? :/

let's hope so. i'm going to give it another try once i'm less mad at the glitch, and if not, i'm going to reinstall.

I had a character clip through between a ladder and a rooftop , but I was able to kill them and respawn them unglitched.

see topic wierd bug this one is a game stopper,. at least for me it is if you are refering to the bug dealing with the zipline ect. many others have experienced it besides myself.

I wonder what causes some to have this glitch and others not to. In total, my game currently has 3 save files and each got passed that spot with no problems.

I restarted my whole computer and it works now! It seems to have something to do with the graphics on my computer, I think. Sometimes when people are on vehicles in a cutscene, they glitch out of the vehicle and zoom away.

sometimes it helps if you restart your whole computer. sometimes. i've encountered times when it still doesn't help. luckily there's a savepoint right there so you don't have to start from the very beginning

A quick fix for this is to activate Player 2, Drop Out as Player 1, and continue playing as Player 2. However, without all three characters the level can't be completed and nobody's figured out how to fix it except he few people who had the graphics thing work. I was able to get through by modding so that I could play as Gail in that section of the level in story mode instead of Emmet, as she has the required skills of both Wyldstyle and Emmett, a process which took close to a day of set up. This is a very buggy game.
