Is it the same voice cast

From the movie? I saw the Movie Tuesday and it was amazing so I was wondering if the same Voice actors are in the game as well.

hmm didnt play Batman because i dont even lke the movie Batman itself ..or marvel so i wouldnt know

All new Lego games, starting from LoTR, have voices now, either taken from a movie (LoTR) or new ones. I would imagine that this would be the case with this game as well (judging from the trailer).

Lego Marvel is fantastic and it doesn't follow any of the movies plot and neither does the Batman game so I'd say check them out and yes since LOTR all Lego games have had Voice acting.

yeah, the lego movie videogame has the exact same voicecast as the movie.

and actually, it was all lego games starting with Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes, that had voice actors.

The voices actually started with LEGO Batman 2

It does have the original cast from the movie. The cool thing is, they also recorded a ton of lines specifically for the game, so there's a lot more from the same actors than in the movie.

CORRECTION: As far as I can tell, IMDb credits the original voice actors (ie. Chris Pratt, et al.) ONLY for the "archive footage" ripped directly from the movies. However, the in-game chacracters are voiced by completely different voice actors. Personally, I would prefer the original voice cast to be used, as some of the voices feel a bit "off" IMO.

Eh... Did you really have to necro a thread that's over 4 years old just to correct someone?

And anyways, there's a good reason the movie's voice actors didn't reprise their roles for the game: money. Hiring them would've probably cost a lot more than simply finding people who could imitate their voice relatively well.

Money and laziness to be exact. Seems like the old voice actors didn't like their roles as much as I thought they did if they didn't bother coming back for this game.
