They are releasing the game now
TO HAVE A MULTIPLAYER !! They have to Delete the *ing game and rebuild it from 0 Please PLEASE understand this PEOPLE
I was an avid player of LEGO Universe, I had 600+ hours clocked :(
1. You need a dedicated server to achive on-line status.
2. You need to create levels in story mode that would support more than 2 characters, which means redesigning the game (as mentioned above) from scratch.
As per previous post above, LEGO attempted to create an on-line MMO game (LEGO Universe), which was a failure.
People get use it.
you cant change a game like ( lego harry poter 1-4 ) and suddenly make it online ! they have to restart ALL OVER make a new harry potter 1-4 game .
Offline games And online games have VERY different engines and gameplay
they cant go like ( oh wow you know what would be cool ? we should make it online ) NO thats just no ... so .. hope this explained
.. imagine that some of the people that asks that .. asks it in a free to play game like ( super crate box ) ... or people that bought a singleplayer game and then crying because it has no online ... well you see SINGLEPLAYER ( no multiplayer or online ) means no multiplayer or online ... so the same stupid discussion everytime
