best lego game

going to buy a lego game.. never played one before so i wanted to know which one is best so i get the best experience

I played the SW ones, Indiana Jones and LotR. From these I prefer LotR. I picked Hobbit and Marvel now in the promo to see how good they are.

LEGO Marvel/LEGO Batman 2/LEGO LOTR are the best ones on sale right now.

You could also get LEGO Hobbit or the Harry Potter ones, LEGO Movie Videogame is not as good as the others but it's "ok". You might want to get one of the others intead, unless you really want this.

If you're starting out to the LEGO games though, go with one of the top 3 depending on which franchise you like more.

lego batman 2 is my favorite. I personally think it had the right amount of characters, content and my favorite graphics wise.

I liked the HP games the most, since "magic" worked well as a game mechanic. I also liked them more than the newer ones, since in every new lego game the voices are directly from movies or voice acted. In my opinion there was much more charm in the older games where the characters didn't talk but used gestures more...

I will say LEGO Marvel, but it really depends on what you like. Lego Marvel and Lego Batman 2 are the first ones where the characters have voice acting and that for me makes the game more enjoyable, other people hated this since they prefered the mute movie comedy it had before in games lik LoTR.

All LEGO games are pretty similar so you can't really go wrong with it. Just pick your favorite franchise and laugh at your favorite characters.

LEGO LotR is a great "first time" LEGO game, but I'd reccomend the two Harry Potter games. The mechanics are much more fun and if you like the HP world at all then there is a lot for you to enjoy in these games.
