This glitch is making the game unplayable
I just bought the game, and no more than 10 minutes in I encounter a glitch which makes the game unplayable.

I'm at the part where you get to play aw Wyldstyle for the first time, trying to escape he pit.
Here's the problem, Wydlstyle can't climb the walls.
Jup, that's the glitch.

She jumps onto the wall on one side, then to the other, then she just falls down no matter what I do.

Has anyone encoutned this glitch? Does anyone know what to do about it?

Hmm, I haven't had this problem -- haven't played it much, but I did get to the part where you get Wyldstyle.
Hi ! I have the same problem. So now I cannot play. I don't know what to do about it.

if this is the first glitch you've encountered in this game, you have a wyld-ride ahead of you.

this is the buggiest lego game yet.
OK heres a work-a-round for that issue (basically its a performance related issue that she cant make the jump *it can happen in other areas of the game too {LINK REMOVIDO} fact it occurs in older lego games as well. so be aware of this :) . When you experience the issue do the following:
Turn all settings (in the Effects and Video menus) to their lowest options (that includes dropping your resolution to 800x600).
You should then find that she can make the jump.

Additional:
Now you 'could' use higher settings and she will make the jump but setting the lowest options gives you the highest chance of success (unless you have a particularly low spec machine for this game). If you experiment you might find a 'happy medium' where you can keep the settings for the entirety of your playthrough. Good luck and happy Stud collecting!

Also, I would like to add that people need to turn on V-sync in their video options.
fyi - If lowering ingame settings isn't helping you could try wringing a little more performance out of your machine by making sure every program thats unessential to your OS is turned off in the background (via the Task Master - actived by pressing in unison the keys Ctrl-Alt-Delete - press these once). Also check that your running the latest drivers for your graphics card. Having 10 gig+ of harddrive space can also help as will making sure you don't have a desktop full of programs/videos/audio files or icons (as this can lower *somewhat* you machines performance)
