10x Red Brick unobtainable!

I got the dreaded 10x Red Brick bug, so I started a new game, and avoided breaking ANYTHING in the area next to Mrs. Scratchen-Post.

Played the game all the way through and tried to her mission, and AGAIN, the second time through, the bench is unbreakable so I can't build the grapple, and the cat is missing.

I've tried everything to avoid getting this bug, but it has happened no matter what I do, also, everything Silver and Gold in the game shows as black, I've verified the files a few times, they all check out fine,

This is by far the buggiest of the Lego Games

Nope.
And it looks like they don't care about patching the problem with the 10x red brick either

I played through the entire game. I never had a glitch that couldn't be fixed by reloading the level.

I tried a few times, it's the glitch in the main hub of the game where the bench becomes unbreakable, so you can't build a grapple for batman to hook onto, to find the 5th cat for the old lady

You are probably missing another cat instead of that one. I got that cat somehow before the quest started.

No, I've done it more than once, I collect 4 cats, and the last cat is on the balcony right next to the cat lady, but the bench is unbreakable and can't be made into a grapple

I had the same problem with the missing cat / glitch with the balcony.
But, I found a sixth cat (or maybe it's the cat of the balcony teleported somewhere else). It's in the bulding, under the station, close by the third page

I had no issue with this but on the cloud cukko lvl i cant get last mini kit
its bugged

You're right! Had the same issue but found the extra cat in the cafe under the train station. Thanks heaps for the tip. This was driving me nuts

i know this is 6 years old, but thank you man, im 80% thru the game and thought i couldnt 100% the game. thank you

There seems to be a extra cat in the cafe under the station. You have to use Mr. Business to press the button on the right side, that opens the door.

I though i hit this bug aswell, but i didn't notice any cat up there, nor do i remember doing that part of the mission. What helped for me is to visit the cat above the construction site. Carefully went through the elevator to the ground and walked all back and this fixed it for me. Somehow the cat couldn't handle me flying with Super Man to the lady.
