Greetings, esteemed collaborators! 2024 is finally here... Wait, what do you mean it’s been three months?! I’m pretty sure I read management’s previous notice just last week… Well, apologies for that. I suppose the notion of time is different when you're overworked undead.

In any case, this is my first actual post here since Undead Resources dumped their workload gave me this incredible opportunity to gain experience with no actual pay increase!

This is finally the year where E-Lich: Corporate Souls will be available for all you lucky people from the mortal realm (which will hopefully increase our profits and let me actually have a salary). So with that said, I hope you're well and rested, because we're here today to show you our latest updates (which will mean more work for you and I very soon)!

Someone in the office told me our first trailer lacked “life”. It took me a good while to understand, but I’m pretty sure they meant the fact that Miss Faye was kept out of it. Yeah, that’s probably it.

Anyway, meet Faye, The Talent Manager!
She’s the only living being in our company and is treated better than all of us, or so I heard. Mysteriously enough, upper management allows her to go on vacation multiple times a year. I wonder what one must do to get such a nice treatment…

Whenever she’s in office, however, she’ll be able to help you improve your talents! From brute force to life steal, she can grant you many useful power-ups. Rogue told me that “it’ll just cost the majority of your salary, but it’s absolutely worth it!” - What a steal!

Since the last update we’ve been working on several bug fixes in order to prepare for our Demo release, which if I heard the gossip correctly, should be somewhere around [REDACTED].

By the way, I noticed our developers track their bugs with unique IDs, which is kinda cool. However, seeing “BUG-105” made me unsure if the increasing digits are supposed to be a good thing or a bad thing...

In any case, they said typing out every bug fix was a waste of time since the Demo wasn’t out yet, so I should just focus on sharing the more interesting news instead. Which reminds me…

I kept hearing how we were “low on budget” and how that impacted our salaries, so you can imagine my surprise when I walked in one day and they were renovating our entire lobby.
Dolores keeps denying it, but I’m certain that she knows how much was spent on this little project. Especially considering just how good it looks.

Speaking of looking good, our employees received a visual overhaul! If I didn't know any better, I'd even say they look more lively.
And strangely enough, our enemies too. Their souls still look the same though…

I’m not sure how our socials manage to get regular posts. I can’t even get a break to drink coffee anymore, much less keeping track of social media…

Oh, and that reminds me! It seems plans to open a Discord server have been finally set in motion, what with the Demo release talks and all. However, that’s all I’ve heard for the moment, so I’ll update you once they update the gossip about it.
