Why change the game style?

I played the hell out of the first game because it was amazing. Wondering why you changed from a turn based card game into a turn based tactical game. Why change what isn't broken?

Events are rough

I find myself avoiding events as they are too unpredictable, and way too much text to read through, and choices that seem very random with no clear outcome. They are not fun IMHO.

Whats next?

So, i think we can all agree that the world could have lived perfectly without Indies Lies 2, and i hope that no more resources will be wasted on it. But the original game, and the vision of Indies Lies + battlefield were awesome, and it would be amazing, to see the series return to its former glory. Is there an official word about future plans and projects?...
