So...no Windowed Fullscreen huh?

Released and "modernized" in 2024 yet they can't even implement such a basic function...and what's worse, even in windowed mode, I cannot tab out of the game to check Discord or see my other in progress downloads? Sigh. Anyone know a workaround?

Just use your phone for discord. As for checking your download progress I've no clue alt f4 doesn't work in this game either.

The "Fullscreen" Screen Type setting is borderless by default, it just doesn't say that. Tabbing out worked perfectly fine for me, mostly. The only issue I had was this occasional invisible "barrier" that prevented from clicking anything screen after tabbing out unless I right clicked first.

Since you say it doesn't even work in windowed mode, it's likely some other setting or issue at fault. Does it let you open the Steam overlay? If so, are you able to tab out of the game while the overlay is active? I'm pretty sure I've used that trick on a couple of games.

Nope, I can open the overlay and use the Discord overlay as well, but I can't tab out to access Youtube for background music, or screen share on Discord (need to reach the app itself to do that)

Pressing the windows key just does..nothing. At all.
