That’s how I’m playing it because I’m PC only. I’ve got 1,500+ hours in RDR 2 and 0 in RDR.

Play the first one first. It makes more sense with how the stories are written, and it'll be harder to go back to the first immediately after the second.

Definitely start with 2. If you know nothing about the story then 1 is gonna spoil some stuff about 2 for you. The gameplay is pretty much the same between the two games, Aim and shoot, aim and shoot. But RDR definitely feels like one continuous story

Yeah, I meant based on timeline, thanks.
Do you think the graphics is outdated for 1? Because it's not a remastered version. If I play 2 and then come back to this, would it be still enjoyable regarding the graphics and gameplay?

Gameplay is pretty much the same. The graphics are still good. Better than GTA IV by a mile and worse than GTA V. And the animations are incredible. no G-mod stiff animations like in GTA IV

I usually do this in order of release, so RDR1, then RDR2, so you get all the callforwards, then RDR1 again to close the story.

Yeah RDR2 then RDR1 actually since the 2nd game is a prequel to RDR1.
