Plans for female adjundant?
I really enjoyed the game, but now it turns out that I am playing some dude. Furthermore, the game expects me to go and visit the girls in their rooms.

Are there any plans to allow for a female adjundant with time?

The devs are Chinese so they don't give af what some random foreigners think, but gatekeeping keeps communities healthy. If OP actually had good intentions they'd be willing to actually converse. Instead they complain and then leave when anyone questions why the devs would waste time, resources, and confuse their goals for a near non-existent playerbase.
Normally I'd agree with you but you're being unnecessarily confrontational, op isn't demanding or suggesting any change, looks like they're just asking for info to me and they even said they're willing to adapt since the game is just that good. There's also a limit to gatekeeping. No offense but you kinda come off as just triggered by someone with a different taste and looking for excuses to fight, I don't see what's there to converse or debate about.
Alright, then you admit that the post was pointless then? Because that's what you basically just said.

I did not say that.

And no, I'm not trying to change anything. I really don't expect to turn the entire game around simply because I myself would like to see it differently.

Anyways, keep your cool, enjoy the game - as I do - and don't get yourself distressed by people's opinions, sentiments or preferences. I wish you well.
So what was the point of even posting in the first place? The fact that you can't even debate your own stance shows that you never came in good faith. Either point farming or simply a wahmen moment.
I may have to agree with this. She seems to be a misandrist (women hating on men), but she can correct if im wrong and i will take that back, but she says playing as "some dude", and only will play as chick characters, so i am assuming she hates men. And yes, when chinese and japanese games are changed for foreign or "modern audiences", things dont go in a good way for the game.

For example, i also play honkai impact, i never once complained about all the characters being female. Eventually they added in male character in a story mode which was really cool!, but i never asked for more male characters. The male character was a + in there.

When i played snowbreak, i never complained about characters only being female. They are cute and beautiful and have guns, i like. Will they add male characters? I dont know. It wold be cool if they did and have a nice variety. But if they dont, im okay with that as well.

I think I remember the devs talking about making a female Adjuntant at one point, but said its a non-priority to extremely low priority. The game has many (cgi video) scenes showing the adjuntant interacting with the girls or in a scene, they'd have to make 2 cgi versions of each cutscene that shows the adjuntant and it could be a lot of work.

I would also like the option myself, more options are good. But if they don't do it, its not gonna change my enjoyment of the game.

Unfortunately Yuri is detrimental for any gacha, especially in China. Anything that even remotely suggest yuri relationships will never be able to achieve any significant popularity. You can look at Honkai 3(Loses to PGR where MC is a man) or 1999(Loses to Priconne where MC is a man) as an examples of it.

THAT IS FAIR, ESPECIALLY IN FALLOUT TO USE FEMALES ONLY. I'm a guy, but because I prefer to not be gay, for the extra damage against every enemy I only use females in Fallout games, as for this game, I don't really mind, because considering the options you have when in the girls rooms, they got lucky considering they are military combatants. Usually a superior entering your room means one of two things, both involve yelling and punishment. Either you did something wrong and are about to have to work your butt off, or its time to wake up and go to training which if you don't means you get punished by having to do extra work. From what I can tell the only reason you go into their rooms is to check on them, talk to them, or give them gifts. Still a female version of the Protagonist might be nice for people who do want that.

Jesus Christ, you Zoomers are so scared of people on the internet finding you weird that you go through these weird cope olympics in order to virtue signal that you're "one of the good guys!" If anything it comes off as more of a red flag than anything.

Not going to happen unless they also make adjutant playable with the customization.

Considering the community they seem to be focusing on.....

Probably not.

This game literally recovered from almost EOS and it's now in its best period by far after successfully carving its niche, it just got 1st place among the top sellers on Steam for Japan, pretty safe to say it's not going anywhere anytime soon. Meanwhile wuwa is blundering left and right somehow, it had a rough launch, performance problems, story is so bad it drove away a lot of people, and now I hear they even managed to fumble with support mails leaking customers' addresses everywhere. What's up with that?

Huh? Honkai Impact 3rd beats out Punishing: Gray Raven in revenue.

2024 mobile revenue thus far according to the Sensor Tower combined (global) totals posted on Reddit:
Honkai Impact 3rd
Punishing: Gray Raven
JAN 2024
$3,630,000
$1,800,000
FEB 2024
$3,550,000
$3,850,000
MAR 2024
$4,230,000
$2,850,000
APR 2024
$2,450,000
$2,430,000

Also, if we're really going to get into just classifying if MCs are strictly men or not, Genshin Impact made $119,000,000 in April, and plenty of people ship same sex couples in that game to boot, on top of having a female MC option.

Putting Genshin aside, as an Azur Lane fan, Massachusetts x Jean Bart, Victorious x Tirpitz, Hood x Bismarck, Enterprise x Belfast, etc. etc. Which is all fan 'ships and what not, but also, characters like Ark Royal, Z1, and Littorio exist, and they're all pretty clearly interested in girls. Z1 and Littorio are pretty clearly bi, and Ark Royal is a hard, uh... destroyercon. Then there's Portland, who is clearly a siscon. Also, in at least one chapter of the anthology manga, published by Ichijinsha, a female commander was featured (Azur Lane Comic Anthology: Breaking!! vol. 4 ch. 8 「はかどるニーミちゃん」).

Yeah, I'm an Azur Lane fan as well but I don't interact with the community. As others have said, this game was almost EOS and recovered. Shipping is something that happens in your head and has nothing to do with the game.

Comparing Gachas to Hoyoverse games are bad comparisons because Hoyoverse is just a normie brand at this point. People play their games simply because it has mass appeal. This game is not aiming for that and other games that have tried have failed. WuWa is likely going to be the next victim of this. Currently the game is doing fine and is growing. It definitely does not need a random shake-up for no reason that may destroy the community that is being made.

You seem to be entirely missing the context of the quote, where Inquisitor claimed

So, shipping, because "even remotely suggest[ed] yuri relationships" is supposedly a problem (It's not, as we can see with other titles, such as Azur Lane, not to mention Fate/Grand Order).

I'm not the person who started the Hoyo comparison. We do have the data to prove this claim, involving HI3 vs PGR, false however.

Speaking of which, Honkai Impact 3rd made 3.2 million last month, and Punishing: Gray Raven made 2.08 million.

Side note: Snowbreak apparently made 6.3 million (and Azur Lane made 9 million).

No, because this is technically a harem ecchi, the protagonist has to be male
