Next Fest is here, and with it comes the chance to share our demo with you all! Over the past few months, we’ve received a lot of feedback, and now we’re excited to show you what we’ve been working on.

In this demo, you’ll be able to play through the tutorial and the first stage of the game. Cocothea will be your Dodolly of choice, with many magic powers unlocked right from the start.

We’re excited to announce that bosses are coming to Dodolly Tales! The first of them, the fearsome “Ratatank,” is complete and ready for battle. It is a special force rat-puppet controlling a huge tank and you’ll face it on its own stage—a miniaturized replica of an army base.


Before you take on the boss, you’ll need to survive five waves of enemies. This will give you time to level up and properly prepare for the challenge ahead. Once the Ratatank arrives, it will bombard you with rockets, attempt to run you over, and even call for reinforcements. The longer the battle drags on, the stronger and more aggressive Ratatank becomes—so efficiency is key!


With this boss mode fully implemented, future bosses will take just a fraction of the time to develop. Expect to see more fearsome enemies with unique mechanics in the future!
