Yep, this game has sadly been practically abandoned years ago. If you can run it and don't encounter bugs, it is super fun, but if you run into a problem, all you can hope is that there is some thread on the forum where somebody may have posted an answer.

Ah, that. I recall that being a random glitch I read about when I was looking for guides for the achievements. It seems to be random on a new game, so if you ever decide to replay Lili, maybe with a little luck it will work.

ok, but i dont want to replay ~5 hrs of gaming. How ever. It's my fault, when I play an old game for 99 cents from "B-Class" developer…

Sadly, I cannot say anything else to that but all indie game purchases carry a risk. Still, Lili in the end fares better than most any cheap indie games on Steam, and at least originally it had effort put into this port. I guess the sales weren't good so it was abandoned. Sad, because it became one of my favourite casual games thanks to its relaxing and fun atmosphere. But as for glitches… yeah, those will stay there. :(

I played the game all the way through several times and never encountered any glitches. The game is very polished and if there are any bugs they are minor ones that will not prevent you from completing it. At 99 cents it's an absolute steal.

For a dollar it's a steal, however it's unfortunate that you were unable to bypass the bug you ran into. Given the fact that it doesn't appear to be a common bug, I imagine that was precisely the reason why it was never patched.

Also, the developers have moved onto a new title, GRAV. I imagine their priority at the moment is that above all else.

Yeah Valve can't do anything to fix bugs unless it's a store page bug. If the game is abandoned and no one can launch it, they might removed the game from steam.
